FOPE jewellery and Common Behaviour

The new chapter of #FOPElab involves a creative duo. This time there are photographer Ivan Grianti and director Vieri Dalla Chiesa behind the lens: together they have interpreted FOPE’s jewellery while searching for everyday luxury in common gesture as per their shared project called Common Behaviour.

Ivan Grianti is an Italian photographer who lives and works in Milan. Born in 1992, he developed an early interest towards painting and graduated in Fine Art Painting at the San Francisco Academy of Art University. While there, he discovered the potential of photography as a documentary tool and a means of observation. Once back in Milan from the States, Ivan decided to become a professional photographer and specialised in fashion, even though he has always nurtured his inclination towards documentary. In 2017 he met Vieri dalla Chiesa, a cinematography student at the time, and they undertook an artistic collaboration which, today, includes FOPE’s new lookbook.

FOPE continues its #FopeLab project and, after collaborating with two emerging artists on still life images, it has now commissioned a photoshoot to Grianti and Dalla Chiesa, who meanwhile has become a film director. Their Common Behaviour project has germinated from a partnership dedicated to industrial art and it consists in the exploration of the different aspects of the “mundane”. To FOPE this translates into an original approach to its signature Everyday Luxury concept. The brand’s narrative is evolving while the jewellery newness is portrayed in new ways: new contents involve short stories, glimpses that highlight the elegance of simple gestures. The camera lens makes the ordinary extraordinary and behind each photograph there is a hint of a fleeting moment the viewer is left to imagine.
