The highest ethical and responsible business values have always constituted the cornerstone of how the company operates. In 2020, FOPE activated its own Code of Ethics, a document that defines the set of values that the company recognises and promotes among all its stakeholders, from employees to suppliers. In recent years, with the aim of transparency, FOPE has committed itself to a process of reporting on initiatives relating to social responsibility, and since 2022 it has been drawing up an annual Sustainability Report produced in line with GRI Sustainability Standards.

FOPE is committed to reducing its impact on the environment and making its activities carbon neutral through the Neutral Carbon Footprint project, which aims to offset CO2 emissions through the purchase of credits from Gold Standard VER certified projects. The Vicenza headquarters, where all FOPE-branded jewellery is produced, is energy autonomous thanks to its photovoltaic system. The company also participates in compensation programmes for employees’ business travel and for the shipping and distribution of its jewellery.

Since 2014, FOPE has been a certified member of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), the international non-profit body that sets ethical standards for the entire jewellery supply chain.
All the gold purchased is certified by the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA). The major diamond suppliers, the largest of which is itself an RJC-certified member, ensure that the gems are sourced from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflicts in the countries of origin, and that they are processed in line with the most authoritative international guidelines.
