In order to tackle them promptly and act effectively, FOPE monitors all its activities from the jewellery manufacturing to the choices related to its offices worldwide and implements solutions to mitigate its environmental impact.

The production process and all associated activities managed in the brand’s headquarters in Vicenza keep innovating both from a technical and engineering viewpoint, but the issues related to environment are equally important. Alongside the ethical aspects of the supply-related choices, FOPE has made sustainability a key factor in all its strategies. Furthermore the company applies strict standards to assess its impact and continuously work on implementing innovative solutions and virtuous practices that involve its subsidiaries as well..

FOPE is committed to reinforcing action against climate change by minimising energy consumption and shifting to “green” sources whenever possible. Several steps have been taken towards these goals, spanning from substantial infrastructural works to the staff’s everyday practices. For instance all light bulbs were removed from the building hosting the brand’s headquarters (including the factory) and they were replaced with led lights instead, which means great savings in energy without much change on the work environment. Furthermore solar panels were installed on the roof when a new floor was built two years ago, while the electric power bought from a local supplier comes from renewable sources in order to further reduce the CO2 emissions. These are choices that FOPE has preferred over standard ones and, when possible, they are applied to the company’s subsidiaries as well.
