The Venice boutique
FOPE in San Marco Square
The first FOPE standalone shop is strategically located in Venice under the arcades of the
remarkable Procuratie Vecchie, and it overlooks piazza San Marco: a setting that represents the
spirit and the elegance of a brand founded just a few kilometres far.
Opened in November 2015, this space was conceived to provide a unique introduction to the FOPE
brand in one of the most beautiful destinations in the world. This is where Italy can be experienced
at its best in a unparalleled meeting of history, art and new cultures - and most of all where the
company roots are.
The perfect ambiance
FOPE worked shoulder to shoulder with celebrated Italian architect Flavio Albanese and his
brainchild Asastudio in order to design and refit the existing premises while respecting the
architecture of the historical building and inserting a modern touch. The outcome is a sophisticated
boutique consisting of two rooms with dark wooden niches, light floors and the brand’s signature
showcase towers and wallpaper.
