It was 1929 when Umberto Cazzola opened an artisan workshop in Vicenza, a city with a rich heritage of knowledge related to the jewellery world. With the same pioneering spirit, his son Odino transformed the workshop into an avant-garde factory and invented the expanding watch straps, while his grandchildren Umberto and Ines created the iconic Novecento mesh and patented the Flex&#8217;it technology. The two major innovations introduced by FOPE are the patented system Flex&#8217;it, which makes the jewellery elasticated thanks to microscopic 18-carat gold springs inserted in the construction, and
