Chop the tomatoes and season them with salt, pepper, fresh basil, a lightly crushed garlic clove, and extra-virgin olive oil.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Lay out the tomatoes on an oven tray and bake at around 80\u00b0C for 5\u20136 hours. This way, the tomatoes will lose their watery content, concentrating their aromas, fragrances and sweetness. Transfer the spaghettoni to the pan with the tomato sauce. The starch released by the pasta will help create a creamy texture that binds with the sauce.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Before serving, garnish with plenty of fresh basil, a drizzle of extra-virgin olive oil and a pinch of chilli to taste.
