The history of FOPE is rooted in the Italian goldsmith tradition. It was 1929 when Umberto Cazzola opened an artisan workshop in Vicenza, a city with a rich heritage of knowledge related to the jewellery world. With the same pioneering spirit, his son Odino transformed the workshop into an avant-garde factory and invented the expanding watch straps, while his grandchildren Umberto and Ines created the iconic Novecento mesh and patented the Flex’it technology. The fourth generation, with Giulia, achieved international success and witnessed the stock market listing of the family business, a brand that has succeeded in reinterpreting Italian craftsmanship through design and innovation, bringing its gold, diamond and gemstone jewellery all over the world.
